Joel Frank

Joel Frank completed his Ph.D. working with Dr. Darrell Long. He spent most of the '90s in a submarine operating a nuclear reactor. After leaving the Navy, he attended San Jose State University and got his M.S. in Computer Science in 2008. Before coming to UCSC, he worked for a Department of Defense contractor for five years writing communications intelligence software.
